These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through this website.

By placing an order through the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Products

Samantha Moller-Bowden creates and curates a small collection of products including homewares, textiles, lampshades, furniture, fashion pieces, artwork and digital downloads.

Some products are handmade, upcycled, vintage, individually sourced or created using reclaimed and previously loved materials.

​

Because of this, small variations in colour, texture, pattern, finish and appearance may occur.

These characteristics are part of the nature of individually made, vintage and upcycled products and are not necessarily faults.

​

Where relevant, signs of age, previous use or natural variation will be described as accurately as possible in the product listing.

3. Product descriptions and photographs

I make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph products accurately.

Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device and settings.

Measurements and dimensions are provided as accurately as possible. Small variations may occur with handmade products.

If you need clarification about an important measurement, material or specification, please contact me before purchasing.

​

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).

Prices may change from time to time, but a price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

Any applicable delivery charges will be shown separately before you complete your purchase.

5. Placing an order

When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.

You will receive an acknowledgement confirming that your order has been received.

​

A contract is formed when I accept your order and payment has been successfully processed, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

If I am unable to fulfil an order, I will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using the payment method available at checkout.

Payment information is processed through the relevant payment provider.

For local collection, cash payment may be available where agreed in advance. The conditions for cash collection are set out on the Delivery & Returns page.

7. Delivery

Delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout or on the relevant product page.

I aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated for the product.

​

Some handmade, upcycled, vintage or made-to-order products may require additional preparation time. Where this applies, it will be stated on the product listing.

​

Once an order has been handed to the delivery service, delivery is subject to the carrier's service and circumstances outside my control.

If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery period, please contact me so that I can investigate.

8. Local collection

Local collection may be offered for selected orders and customers.

If you choose local collection, I will contact you by email to arrange a suitable collection time.

​

For privacy and security, the collection address is not published as a general customer-facing location. The address and collection arrangements will be provided privately once collection has been agreed.

Please do not visit the collection address without an agreed collection time.

Cash payment for local collection

Cash payment is available only where agreed in advance.

​

For cash collection:

• cash payment is available for orders over £50 unless otherwise agreed in advance;

• please bring the exact amount, as change may not be available; and

• cash is not kept on the premises, so payment must be made at the agreed collection time.

9. Handmade, vintage and upcycled products

Many Samantha Moller-Bowden products are made using reclaimed, vintage or previously used materials.

​

Natural variations, signs of age, small imperfections and differences in texture or colour may therefore form part of the character of a piece.

These characteristics will be described as accurately as possible in the relevant product listing.

They do not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, materially different from its description or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

10. Custom and personalised products

Where I agree to create or alter a product specifically to your requirements, the agreed specifications will be confirmed before work begins.

​

Certain personalised or made-to-order products may be exempt from the standard change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect your statutory rights where the product is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

11. Digital downloads

Digital products are supplied electronically and are intended for personal use unless otherwise stated.

Digital downloads may not be resold, redistributed, reproduced commercially or supplied to third parties without written permission.

​

Where digital content is supplied immediately after purchase, the checkout process will include the required acknowledgement and consent regarding the cancellation right where applicable.

12. Intellectual property

All original text, photographs, artwork, graphics, designs, branding and other content created by Samantha Moller-Bowden remain the intellectual property of Samantha Moller-Bowden or the relevant rights holder unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit this material without prior written permission.

13. Website availability

I aim to keep the website accurate and available, but I cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.

I may update or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

14. Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

In particular, you retain your legal rights where goods are faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

Personal information provided when using the website, subscribing to the newsletter or placing an order will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of Scotland.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the law applicable to your circumstances.
